My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Ever Pure Anti-Frizz Colour Care Serum:
L’Oreal Paris Ever Pure Anti-Frizz Colour Care Serum comes in a beautiful packaging. It comes packaged in a sealed plastic container. The basic product-related information is printed on the back of the container. The shelf life of the product, once opened is 18 months, which is good.
One of the main reasons I picked this product was for the Anti-Frizz claim and only after the purchase, I noticed that the serum is suitable for colour-treated hair. Anyhow, I decided to give it a try. The serum comes in a plastic opaque purple-grey bottle with a beautiful red pump cap. The opaque colour makes it impossible to determine the quantity. The cap has a lock system, making the bottle hassle free and travel-friendly.
The serum is transparent, gel-like and has a very runny texture. The fragrance is pleasant and floral-like, which stays for a pretty long time. Initially, the serum feels a little oily when applied but, it vanishes away soon. The serum should be applied along the length of your hair and not to the roots. The serum does detangle my hair. I can apply it onto either dry or wet hair, and it moisturises my hair really well. The serum is also claimed to protect colour-treated hair but, as I do not have coloured hair, I am not sure about this claim.
Like its claims, the serum adds a beautiful shine to my dry hair. The serum does eliminate the frizz to a great extent. It smoothens out the hair and makes my hair look sleek. The serum adds a nice bounce to the hair, which I love. The serum is a great product for dry and dull hair as it adds shine and softness to the hair.
When applied to the roots, the serum makes the scalp oilier, and as I already have an oily scalp, the serum makes my hair look oily the next day. The product is free from sulphates, and only two ingredients are mentioned on the packaging. The product adds an incredible smoothness to my hair without disturbing the natural texture. Overall, it is a good serum, and probably a good one for colour-treated hair.
