When Nashville songwriters Mark D. Sanders and Tia Sillers teamed up to create the song, “I Hope You Dance“, they unleashed a breathtaking piece of music for the ages that would go on to win coveted awards and a legion of besotted fans. A phenomenon in the music industry and considered one of the Songs of the Century, it has been at the top of graduation, wedding and memorial playlists for over a decade. This book, curated from extensive stories told in the movie via interviews conducted by Scheinfeld and the film’s co-producer, Judith A. Proffer, documents the birth and life of “I Hope You Dance,” including four captivating real life stories of faith and hope. Featuring thoughtful commentary by Joel Osteen, Brian Wilson, Vince Gill, Lee Ann Womack and Graham Nash. Foreword by Tim Storey.
