If you're a fan of Mike Mignola's comic book creation, 'Hellboy', then you'll love this tribute to Guillermo del Toro's movie sequel, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, on display at Universal Studios in Florida.

Included amongst the movie memorabilia was all sorts of make-up prosthetics, masks, animatronics, concept artwork, plus original costumes and props used in the filming of the fantastical movie.

Mike Mignola's unconventional comic book hero is a red-skinned demon, with a tail, horns (which he files off to appear more 'normal', leaving his signature circular stumps), and an over-sized right 'Hand of Doom', made of stone. He works for the United States Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.) and in the movie adaptation, the gruff demon is portrayed by Ron Perlman.

The make-up in the 2008 movie was so good that it was nominated for an Oscar for Best Achievement in Make-up for Mike Elizalde and Thomas Floutz. Sadly it didn't win the Academy Award, but it did garner lots of other sci-fi, horror and fantasy genre awards.

In addition to Hellboy's facial prosthetics, they also had his big stone hand on display, plus an animatronic tail used in the movie.

Next is Hellboy's trademark trenchcoat, which appears to be one of his stunt doubles as the label says 'Max', so possibly it was worn by Canadian Max White who doubled for Ron Perlman in the movie.

Hellboy's world is populated with weird and wonderful mystical creatures including the 'Elf King Balor's' royal guard. This is the creature mask worn by one of guards, who fights and is defeated by 'Prince Nuada'.
