Healthy Chickpea Patties


These vegan chickpeas patties are delicious, healthy, and very easy to make. On this occasion, I decided to change gluten-free bread for lettuces.  
 


Simplicity: easy

Time Consuming: 30 minutes

Taste: salty

Recommendation: you may cook them on the grill as well. 


Ingredients: 

To serve:

  • romaine lettuce, leaves separated 
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Himalaya pink salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Your favorite mustard 


Steps:

1- Preheat to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

2- Tip the chickpeas into a bowl and crush to a thick paste with a potato masher. 

3- Stir in the sweetcorn, smoked paprika, lemon juice, and plenty of salt and black pepper.

4- Add the garbanzo flour and mix well until everything starts to stick together.

5- Divide the mixture into 6, then form each into a patty shape.

6- Brush the burgers with oil and place them on the baking sheet. 

7- Cook on each side for 10 minutes, or until crisp and hot through.

8- Serve the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and mustard.

9-  Serve immediately.
