Recommendation: you may cook them on the grill as well.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups chickpeas, cooked
- 1/2 cup sweetcorn, cooked
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon garbanzo flour
- 2 tablespoons rapeseed oil
To serve:
- 1 romaine lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Himalaya pink salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Your favorite mustard
Steps:
1- Preheat to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2- Tip the chickpeas into a bowl and crush to a thick paste with a potato masher.
3- Stir in the sweetcorn, smoked paprika, lemon juice, and plenty of salt and black pepper.
4- Add the garbanzo flour and mix well until everything starts to stick together.
5- Divide the mixture into 6, then form each into a patty shape.
6- Brush the burgers with oil and place them on the baking sheet.
7- Cook on each side for 10 minutes, or until crisp and hot through.
8- Serve the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and mustard.
9- Serve immediately.
