Carton of MIlk for HEALTHY BONES & TEETH! Say cheese*


So many of you have learned about the importance of eating Calcium rich foods for health teeth and bones* some of us do consider the importance or some of us may have skipped the milk cartons during lunch during our elementary school days* As a child this was a miracle food for me, I would ask my friends for theirs because I wanted extra-tough bones..lol...maybe this was one of the highlights in my life where I knew I would one day study Nutrition. Either way, Calcium has many health benefits that we may not be aware of so I felt it would be a little interesting to focus on it a bit* EnjoY!

Calcium is found through milk & dairy products such as : salmon, leafy green vegetables, cheese, yogurt, orange juices are know fortified, rice beverages are some examples of Calcium rich foods.

It is an important element and can prevent certain health conditions such as osteoporosis, and other bone disorders.

Some common symptoms when deficient are: insomnia, hypertension, and arthritis.

Some of the health benefits within some studies included:
* Help maintain weight
* Protects the health of your heart
* Some studies show that it prevents the risk of colon cancer
* Healthy pearly whites (teeth)
* Protects your bones
* Helps transport nutrients in your body: across the cell membranes

So can I say more cheese* when considering Calcium rich foods, it is imperative still to look for healthier choices where it can still benefit you in a healthy way. For example, low fat choices, or fat free choices* I hope this brief information on Calcium was beneficial*

So lets give a hell Yeah! for that extra cup of "LECHE"!
