Buy some new kitty dishes....go on, it's fun. Some cats don't like to drink or eat from plastic bowls. There is no rhyme or reason as to why, but if kitty doesn't drink much water from your current bowl try buying a new & different one. Ensure that his water dish is big enough so that his whiskers do not touch the edges of the bowl. (Suggested in Pet Valu Companion magazine) It doesn't have to be as big as Sierra's bowl...she's just a comedian.
Add 1/2 a teaspoon of pumpkin to your cat's soft food each day. The fibre will keep the cat from getting bunged up. Most cats like it. If they don't then try cooked yam (same amount). No one wants a constipated cat.
